Theatrical Makeup A
Students will learn theatrical makeup applications in view of the "house", the lighting, and the character created. The course introduces the students to aging makeup, cuts, scars and bruises; as well as how to work with products to create dimensional, realistic looking skin textures.
This runs 12 hours over two days

Students will learn how to use various theatrical products and techniques to create illusions and characters for the theater. The theatrical makeup application will be taught in view of the various sizes of the “house”, as well as the particular stage lighting used. Students will focus on painting techniques, using theatrical products to create dimensional, realistic skin textures.
Manipulate the shape of the face and it’s features, using theatrical creams in warm and cool colors
Create Cirque Du Solei and other fantastical theatrical looks
Learn how to use water-based theatrical makeup as well as theatrical creams
Design a middle aged look
Design and execute an old-age look
Design and Execute a mythological character
