Students will be able to express their creativity, while learning how to best create makeup applications suitable for live events, such as runway and fashion shows. Students will also expand their knowledge of makeup application for print in the context of editorial spreads and/or advertising campaigns.
Creating an application suitable for black and white photography/videography/film
Creating period makeup looks, from the early 1920’s to the present
Creating a monochromatic glamour shot, with various textures
Researching an assigned topic, creating a story board and then
Developing and executing a runway look
Learning current and upcoming trends
Working with a professional photographer, expanding knowledge of how to conduct yourself on set, as well as light/color theory, and wardrobe and hairstyling for print
