ATTN! Makeup Sanitizer Mist

Did you know that ATTN! Beauty’s Makeup Sanitizer Mist can also be used as a hand sanitizer? The Sanitizer Mist is a quick-drying, all-natural, organic antibacterial that instantly cleans and disinfects, while leaving a pleasing scent. It can be used to supplement hand washing when soap and water are unavailable.

The Sanitizing Mist is a clean product, which contains only five all-natural and organic ingredients: 70% natural organic Ethyl Alcohol, Witch Hazel, Rose Water, Aloe Vera, and (non artificial) Vanilla. The 70% natural organic ethyl alcohol works to kill bacteria, while the remaining ingredients work to keep the alcohol from drying out the skin.

The entire line of ATTN! Beauty products are geared towards clean and natural beauty solutions. Check out how to use each product in the ATTN! Beauty line with our instructional videos below!

Updated Session Dates for 2020!

Like many other schools and businesses, Make Up First has temporarily suspended normal operations this week as the country navigates the recent coronavirus outbreak. We are all anxious and excited to get back to work doing what we love, but the health and safety of our students and staff are of the utmost importance to us. As such, we have revised our 2020 course dates, which are now current on our website, as well as in the list below. We are monitoring the situation closely, but hopefully we not need to revise these dates any further.

If changes are needed, they will be reflected on our website and social media as soon as possible. If you are already registered for any of the courses or workshops that were rescheduled, we will reach out to you directly. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this hectic time!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email info@makeupfirst.com!

*We will continue to honor and fill online product orders, and class payments can still be made online here!

What is Gleam?

Gleam Face & Body Radiance is a revolutionary all in one Makeup, Moisturizer, and Glow you can use for face and body.

What It Does:

Face & Body Highlight/Shimmer –  our formula is perfect as a body glow, body shimmer, body bronzer and body highlighter all in one!

Body & Leg Makeup – Body Radiance lightweight makeup blurs imperfections on the entire body, also known as “liquid pantyhose”, not heavy or full coverage makeup.

Transfer Resistant – long-lasting formula stays put and won’t stain skin or clothing. Simply wash off with soap & water.

Flattering on all Skin Tones – every shade is a different look and any skin tone can use any shade. See our shade videos and chart below.

6 Shades – Darker shades are perfect for contour, bronzing, and amping up a tan on lighter skin. Lighter shades are perfect for glow and POP!

How To Use It:

Safe for the Face – use as an illuminating primer, create a buildable highlight or sunkissed tint

Mix it Up – blend Gleam Body Radiance with your favorite liquid foundation, BB Cream or other skincare product for an all-over glow! When using on the body, do not mix with lotions or oils or transfer may occur.

Lock it Down – top off your glow with our Gleam Body Sealing Spray to seal in your look even longer!

The Jordan Liberty Masterclass Returns!

Jordan Liberty: Building a Beauty Portfolio Masterclass
June 14th & 15th, 2020

Jordan Liberty's masterclass returns! Join Jordan for his 1-day masterclass and immerse yourself in his techniques for creating stunning light-adaptive makeup applications that look flawless in person and translate seamlessly to camera. Day 1 is open to all makeup lovers, no matter your level of experience and teaches every student how to create makeup looks that don't need filters to look finished. Makeup artists can join for the 2-day class to access hands-on guidance from Jordan as they create 3 makeup looks to be professionally photographed.

Day 1: Demonstrations + Q&A

Jordan recreates his signature "clean" campaign makeup for camera, shooting live and discussing the relationship between the makeup and camera. This is a deep dive into his signature techniques and how light affects color and texture. Key points include:

  • Skincare prep by facialist-to-the-stars, Yoli (@yoliglo).

  • Signature "microblading" technique on brows.

  • Signature "reverse foundation" technique.

  • Signature "lightshaping" technique.

  • How to draw focus towards a specific texture, color, or area of the face.

  • Creating balance and harmonious color tones and combinations.

  • Achieving the perfect lip shape.

  • + More signature tricks based on the model, the look, and your questions.

  • Q&A

Day 2: Hands-On Makeup and Photoshoot

Create 3 looks on professional models (provided in your ticket cost) based on a predetermined assignment with the assistance of Jordan. The assigned looks and information will be provided on day 1. Your final looks will be professionally photographed, and you will receive all raw images as part of your ticket cost. Retouching is available for an added charge directly through the photographer. This is a truly unique masterclass and the most comprehensive of all of Jordan’s workshops, which is why it has sold out 5 years in a row!

YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE A MAKEUP ARTIST KIT ALONG WITH ALL PROPER SANITARY ITEMS FOR THIS PORTION. Double-dipping and touching applicators directly to the skin will not be permitted for safety reasons. Jordan will answer all hygiene questions if you are unsure. Please make sure to have freshly washed brushes, this will be a FUN DAY!
